SPARK is open to individuals, teams, and companies that fulfill the following criteria:
At least one member of the founding team is Taiwanese American or of Taiwanese descent
Based in the U.S.

Judges will be selected by the SPARK program administrators. Judging will take place in two rounds. In the first round, judges will determine the top 10 companies.
After the top 10 have been chosen, pitches from these companies will be posted on the SPARK website. For one week, the public can vote on their favorite company. The above judges will also score each of the companies, and the winner will be chosen by a mix of the voting public’s score as well as the judges’ scores.
Judges will create feedback videos for each of the top 10 companies, and the videos will be posted to the SPARK website.
